Woohoo!! It’s Holiday Blog Hop time and I’ve had a ton of fun creating my project for you, I’ve been so busy lately that I’ve hardly had time to play with the gorgeous Winter Wonderland collection so I’ve added quite a few to my project today, It could be a gift, a table centre piece or a Christmas decoration, or just a lot of fun for a little girl or boy. So here goes….
‘All Aboard’ My North Pole Express:
My images are stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black onto Copic Express Card and coloured with Copic Sketch Markers. The Copics used are as follows: skin: E11, E00, E000, R20 hair: E47, E44, E43, E42, E40 or E57, E55, E53, E50 clothes: BG15, BG13, BG11, BG10, BG0000, W5, W3, W1, W00, Y26, Y23, Y21, Y00 bear fur: E47, E44, E42, E40 Santas boots and belt: C9, C7, C5, C1 I have added lots of Kindy Glitz for a sparkle effect and patterns to the clothing with a Sharpie White paint marker
The Engine:
There is a little faux tea light candle flickering inside to give the illusion of the coal engine, The smoke is created using white beaded twirls, The windows are made with vellum to allow the light to shine through
The lid comes off to place a gift inside:
The carriage:
The carriage is filled with chocolate coins and white chocolate Lindt balls
The Caboose:
The Caboose has a packet of yummy Ginger bread cookies inside, Just perfect for Christmas morning tea. Did you see the little mini Tildas looking out of the windows? I’m sure they are looking forward to visiting Santa’s workshop
Little Noel is having a wonderful time up on the caboose:
All the wheels turn so the train can roll along, the engine and caboose have removable lids to pop your small gifts inside and the carriage has 2 little presents big enough to fit 3 Lindt chocolate balls in each. If you would like to create your own North Pole Express, you can purchase the SVG pattern here
