Our Challenge for you at CMC this time is Guy Cards. I don’t know about you but this is a really hard one for me, none of my beloved lace and frills! Oh dear!!! Luckily we have a wonderful sponsor in Dr Digi and when I saw Dunterton Decorators Ltd I knew this would be the perfect image to use:
I’ve created a pop up card and gift. My Dad was a painter and decorator before he retired so what better than a paint can full of yummy chocolates and this cute quirky painter card to surprise him.
For a closer look:
My image is printed onto Copic Express Card and coloured with Copic Sketch Markers. The Copics used are as follows: skin: E11, E00, E000, R20 clothes: Y26, Y23, Y21, Y00, C5, C3, C1, C00 paint: E35, YR24, YR20 The little Wet Paint sign is hand written
Our wonderful sponsor Dr Digi will offer an awesome prize to the lucky Challenge winner so pop on over to the CMC Challenge and have a look at the fabulous creations from the rest of the DT and why not have a try at our ‘Guy Cards’ Challenge for a chance to win a terrific prize
And the gift:

Lovely card Julie. I love the image, lots of character, and of course coloured beautifully. I wouldn’t have picked that paper for a guy card, but it really looks fabulous and works so well.

Cute, cute, cute…great image for your dad. And LOVE how you did the yellow and gray theme. Your yellow shirt on “dad” is fabulous. You give me such great inspiration to try things I haven’t done yet…yellow. I’ve accented with it, but think I’ll give a full shirt a try after seeing this. Gorgeous, Julie…your work is always so outstanding. Hugs, Gail
