Colouring Fur Sunday, Feb 3 2013

Please scroll down for the Digi Bells Blog Hop. Our Challenge for you at CMC this week is ‘Colouring Texture’ I’ve chosen a sweet little bear from our sponsor Stamp Fairy and created this pretty card:

cmc texture

My image is printed onto Copic Express Card and coloured with Copic Sketch Markers. The Copics used are as follows: fur: E47, E44, E43, E40 clothes: BG15, BG13, BG11, BG10, BG0000 snow: C3, C1, C00, BG10 I have added some Kindy Glitz and Snow Tex to enhance the snow

The long fur is created with tiny cross strokes ( like drawing little X’s) I started with a light covering of E 40 over all the fur areas then added darker fur with crosses of E47, working down to the lighter shades, I hope you will have a try as it’s very simple to do and creates a nice fur effect
