Popcorn the Bear… Friday, Sep 15 2017

Our Challenge for you at Fussy and Fancy this week is ‘Fall Colours’ Now this one is a big challenge for me. As most of you know this is not my favourite colour combination. I had to search through my stash to find some appropriate papers and came across some that were given free with one of the recent card magazines. Wonderful, I’m on my way! I’ve combined them with a cute Popcorn the bear stamp and some of my favourite dies from Marianne Designs. Even though I’m not a big fan of Autumn tones I was pleased with the end result, I think Popcorn turned out quite nicely don’t you think?

My image is stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black onto Copic Express Card and coloured with Copic Sketch Markers. The Copics used are as follows: popcorn E47, E44, E43, E42, E40 Daffodils and duck: Y26, Y23, Y21, Y00, YR12, YG63, YG61, G40

Popcorn Bear’s Day Out… Friday, Apr 18 2014

Today I have a sweet little Popcorn the Bear card to share, Just For You! Popcorn goes on many adventures and today he’s out for a walk with his little friend, I’ve used some pretty Kaiser Gelato papers and a few sweet flowers to decorate:

Thanks A Bunch Friday, Aug 12 2011

The sketch from Paper Sundaes forms the basis of my design layout. I have used a rectangle in place of the oval as this shape better suits my image.

I have combined my Popcorn Bear ‘Thanks A Bunch’ stamp set  with these gorgeous Heidi Grace papers to create today’s card.

This is what I came up with:

Popcorn is stamped with Memento Rich Cocoa onto Copic Express cardstock and coloured with Copic Sketch Markers.I have shaded his fur and then added extra ‘flicking’ strokes to give a more textured look.

The Copics used are as follows: bear: E35, YR24, YR21, YR20, Flowers: Y28, Y26, Y23, YG05, YG03, YG01, YR16, YR14, YR12, YR00 duck: Y06, Y04, Y02

The inside of the card has the addition of some matching DP to finish the card off nicely.
