Many of you have asked for a tutorial on my Butterfly Easel card, Well here goes:

Firstly print the Butterfly template and card base onto your chosen cardstock and cut out, Trace the butterfly onto your designer paper and cut out, trace the folded card base onto designer paper and cut out, you should then have the following pieces:

Attach the DP to the card front and the inside of your card base:

Decorate your front Butterfly:

I’ve used Magnolia Mini Beautiful Tilda fussy cut and framed with die cuts. My Tilda is stamped with Memento Rich cocoa and coloured with Copic Sketch Markers. The Copics used are skin: E11, E00, E000, R11 hair: YR24, YR21, YR20 clothes and wings: RV95, RV93, RV91, R000, R00, YR20 I have added some Stickles to her wings for a  sparkle effect.

Attach your butterfly to the card base taping only the areas shown, this creates the easel fold:

You will need to add something raised on the card base to keep the easel in place when open, I’ve added a raised sentiment:
