This time at ABC our challenge for you is Q for Quilt. We would like you to use a quilt like background on your creation.  I’ve chosen Joy Squares from our sponsor Bugaboo and combined them with some sweet Magnolia Minis to create a Christmas sign for my craft room door

This is what I came up with:

I thought as it is almost June that I should start making the occasional Christmas project as the later part of the year gets so busy. My Joy image is printed  and the Mini Magnolias are stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black onto Copic Express Card and coloured with Copic Sketch Markers. The Copics used are as follows: skin: E11, E00, E000, R20 hair and star: E35, YR24, YR21, YR20 clothes and letters: R27, R24, R22 background: W3, W1, W00 I have added some Kindy Glitz hear and there for a sparkle effect.

I have done some stitching on the background and around the JOY panel to give a quilt like effect. Don’t forget to pop on over to the ABC Challenge  and take a look at the wonderful creations from the rest of the DT and have a try at our Q for Quilts challenge for a chance at an awesome prize from Bugaboo
