Our Challenge for you at Just Magnolia this week is ‘Gingham’ You can use Gingham papers, ribbon, paper piecing anything you like as long as you include Gingham on your creation somewhere it’s fine. I’ve chosen the very sweet Tilda Catching Stars and paper pieced her dress with some beautiful magnolia paper

This is what I came up with:

Tilda is stamped with Memento Tuxedo black onto Copic Express card and coloured with Copic Sketch Markers. The Copics used are as follows: skin: E11, E00, E000, R20 hair, boots and wand: E35, YR24, YR21, YR20 crown and shading on dress: B000, B00, B02 I have added some Kindy Glitz to her wand and stars for a sparkle effect. To create Tilda’s dress I stamped onto my Magnolia paper and fussy cut the dress and glued it to my image, I then added a little shading with Copics
