This week at Paper Sundaes our Challenge Theme is Anything Goes. I thought this would be a great opportunity to use my Dangling Sea Edwin from Magnolia along with some wonderful sea shells I’ve had in my stash for a while.

This is what I came up with:

I then decided to add a ship charm to the sentiment in keeping with the theme.

I have made a chocolate slider box to accommodate  some Guylian Shell chocolates, just perfect for my chosen image.  Addition  of some Distress ink to the edges of the card will help blend with my DP.

Edwin is is stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black onto Copic Express Card and coloured with Copic Sketch Markers. The Copics used are as follows: skin: E11. E00, E000, R20 hair: E19, E18, E17, E13 clothes: BG99, BG96, BG93, W0, E43, E42, E41, E40 anchor: C6, C4, C2, C0, E47, E44, E42

I have had some requests for instructions on my Chocolate slider box so here goes, My Guylian shell chocolates measure 18.6cms x 19cms. To cover this I needed 2 sheets of A4 card. Cut one piece 29.5cms x 19cms and score this at 2.1cms, 5.1cms, 24.4cms and 27.4cms. Cut a second piece of card 19cms x 19cms and adhere this to the first to make the slider. Your chocolates should fit nicely inside with the addition of some ribbon to allow easy access. The open end opposite the ribbon bow is the spine of your slider box. Cut a piece of card 29.5cms x 19.2cms and score at 7cms and 10cms. attach the smaller section to the back of your slider leaving the spine free. Decorate and embellish as desired. The photo’s give a good indication on where to put things, with these measurements you should be able to complete your own slider box. Have fun!
