Everyone loves cupcakes, so what better creation for a gift card holder than a Tilda cupcake! With inspiration from one found on Debbie Dolphin’s blog and adaptation from this you tube tutorial I proceeded to create my cupcake.

In keeping with the picture inspiration at the Magnolialicious Challenge blog I decided on pink and white for my colour palette, lots of gorgeous flowers and mini ‘Tilda with many  hearts’ available from the Magnolialicious store. Tilda is stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black onto Copic Express card and coloured with Copic Sketch markers.

The flowers are attached with a hot glue gun and the gaps between the flowers filled with ruffled ribbon.

When Tilda is pulled upward…

you reveal the hidden gift card.

Tilda is attached to the gift card with a small clip so it can be easily removed without damage. When inside the cupcake the clip is hidden by a small piece of ruffled ribbon.
