Trimming The Tree… Wednesday, Dec 17 2014 

Our Challenge for you at Elphine House this time is ‘Traditional Christmas Colours’ I’ve chosen the very sweet ‘Trimming the Tree’ and created this pretty card:

My image is stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black onto Cryogen White Card and coloured with Copic Sketch Markers. The Copics used are as follows: skin: E11, E00, E000, R20 hair: E57, E55, E53, E51, E50 clothes: R27, R24, R22, R21, G20, YG23, YG05 tree: FYG2,YG23, YG05, G40, Y26, E08, E97, E21, E37 I added some sparkle to the ornaments with Stickles

Cozy Snowman… Tuesday, Dec 16 2014 

As you know I’m doing a GDT spot for the wonderful Pion Design papers and I just love the ‘Days of Winter’ collection, I’ve chosen some pretty neutral tones and a sweet little snowman to create this pretty Christmas card:

My image is stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black onto Copic Express Card and coloured with Copic Sketch Markers. The Copics used are as follows: snowman: C1, C00, BG10, BG000, BG0000, W3, W1, W00, B63, B60 I added some sparkle with Stickles

The neutral tones are so effective colouring just the shadow areas for a pretty effect, The fluff on his hat and scarf are created using Warm Grey Copics and a flicking motion to give texture followed by a generous coat of Stickles
