A Pen Friend… Friday, Feb 24 2012

Today’s card features a sweet little stamp by Elizabeth Bell called ‘ A Pen Friend’. She is one of the many wonderful stamps available from Belles and Whistles My card follows the theme of Love and Hearts set by the Belles and Whistles Challenge and Lots of Lace from the Digi Bells Bloghop

This is what I came up with:

I love brown and blue together, it really seems to suit my lovely image. I have stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black onto Copic Express card and coloured with Copic Sketch Markers. The Copics used are as follows: skin: E11, E00, E000, R20 hair and letter: E43, E42, E41, E40 clothes: B97, B95, B93, B91, B0000

As I’m sure you’ve noticed by my recent posts I really love my die cuts. This card uses some gorgeous Memory Box Heart Dies and my favourite Magnolia Doohickey Heart Swirl

Strawberry Yummy… Wednesday, Feb 22 2012

Inspired by the wonderful photo inspiration at Dutch Magnolia Lovers  my card today features Strawberry Yummy Tilda and some gorgeous Kaiser DP from the Nan’s Favourites Collection

This is what I came up with:

The red and cream combination in the DP has a lovely country feel about it and blends perfectly with my Strawberry theme.  My Tilda is stamped with Memento tuxedo Black onto Copic Express card and coloured with Copic Sketch Markers. The Copics used are as follows: skin: E11, E00, E000, R20 hair, boots and basket: E44, E43, E42, E40 clothes: R29, R27, R24, R22, E42

I’m pleased to have inked another previously unused stamp, I think that Strawberry Yummy Tilda is just so sweet and will be added to many cards in the future.

Cherry Tilda Monday, Feb 20 2012

For today’s card I decided to take up the Challenge set by TOMIC this week. "3, 2, 1, A Recipe"… 3DP, 2(or more) Embellishments and 1 Stamped Image ( Sentiments allowed) I chose cute little Cherry Tilda and a gorgeous selection of Magnolia DP to make a pretty Birthday card.

This is what I came up with:

I love the Magnolia DP’s they have such a lovely texture and sweet designs. I have added some Pickett Fence Distress Stain to the edges of the card and paper to soften the colours.

And Tilda:I really enjoyed making this card and as I’m getting lots of Magnolia DP for my Birthday at the end of the month I’m sure that you will see lots more creations using them shortly.
