The Magnolia-licious™ Fall Blog Hop here

My post for the Digi Bells Blog Hop here

When All The Spooks Come Out To Play…. Monday, Sep 1 2014

It’s Blog Hop time over at Magnolia-licious™ today and the DT have some wonderful Fall/Halloween projects to share. I’ve chosen a few cute Magnolia Halloween stamps and created a fun Halloween House. This is quite picture heavy as there are lots of quirky details and I wouldn’t want you to miss any of them.

This is what I came up with:

Halloween house 5

Halloween house 6

Halloween house 3

Halloween house 4

The Cute Halloween House was created from an SVG Cuts file called Haunted Forest , I’ve added some bats from the Gothic Flourishes collection and die cut a sign post for my sentiment using Marianne Designs LR0276 and LR0268. Did you see the little spider web charm on the front porch…

It’s Tea Time…. Monday, Sep 1 2014

Our Challenge for you at LHOSM this week is ‘Favourite Colours’ I will always love the teal and aqua tones, but at the moment  my favourites would have to be pinks and peachy pinks, I think this is because of all the gorgeous papers available in these wonderful colours. I’ve chosen one of my favourite Tildas, New Year Tilda from the Magnolia Winter Wonderland collection and created a pretty tea set :

Rose Scent Tilda… Wednesday, Aug 27 2014

It’s Midway Reminder time for our Challenge at Midweek Magnolias The theme is ‘Back to School’ and I’ve chosen to create a bookmark with one of my old favourites, Rose Scent Tilda. I’ve combined her with some gorgeous Mariposa DP to create this pretty bookmark:

side view

I just love the neutral tones of this one and had a lot of fun colouring her. Tilda is stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black onto Copic Express Card and coloured with Copic Markers using only W5, W3, W1, W00 and a little R00

For a closer look:

Tilda closeup

Midweek Magnolia have some wonderfully talented DT members so pop on over and take a look at the gorgeous creations from the rest of the DT and get those Back to School creations started for a chance to win a terrific prize from our fabulous sponsor Magnolia Sweden

The flap at the back tucks inside the pages to keep your place. You can see at the top there are lots of small score lines to adjust the thickness of the bookmark as required:

spine

With this design I can still embellish my bookmark as the design portion sits out at the front and doesn’t get squashed, I like this as I am still able to add dimension and texture to the front section, and you all know I love to do that

Here it is on my book:
